Hizbullah Guiding Congregation Edip Gümüş, who issued a message on the occasion of the Feast of the Sacrifice, congratulated the Eid of the Muslims of the world while paying attention to the fact that the Islamic Ummah is in it.
While emphasizing the family of Abraham Prophet, his wife Hacer and son Ismail and their exemplified commitment to Allah, Gümüş made recommendations in his message and said, “Young brothers must destroy the plans of unbelievers by reading Islam, living Islam and struggling for Islam. If they succeed this, then they can protect their selves, their environment, and society from the devil and plans of devil’s friends.”
Starting with the 135th Ayah in the Surah Al-Bakara “... Say: Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists,” in the message, Gümüş said, “I congratulate the Eid al-Adha of all our brothers and the Muslims of the world, those are in prison, immigrants, and their families, especially families of the martyrs. I wish from my Lord that this Eid be instrumental in the welfare of the Islamic ummah.”
Gümüş said, “A large part of the Islamic community is trying to maintain their life with poverty, hunger, and thirst, while a part of it gives life struggle under oppression. Ethical degeneration continues to exist as a separate problem. Muslims must clasp against all this cruelty which towards the extinguishment of the light of Islam, against the evil plans and destructions and not in actions against each other. Hitches like profanation, retrogression in thought and action, delay the victory gates to be opened that our Lord promised us. We have to get rid of this dilemma and we need to improve the situation we are in.”
I want our younger brothers to be more sensitive to fulfilling their Islamic responsibilities
Gümüş said that young people should be in good actions to win the pleas of Allah and expect to act more sensitively in fulfilling their Islamic responsibilities. “Our younger brothers and sisters; should read and live the Qur'an and the Sunnah and make guide these fundamental principles of our religion, stay away from even a little way that will take them to sins, and be in good actions to win the pleas of Allah. I want younger brothers and sisters to be more sensitive in fulfilling their Islamic responsibilities over the material and spiritual traps, games, and offenses of Islam’s enemies which are targeted to destroy us. Young brothers and sisters must read, live and struggle for Islam and distort the games of the unbelievers because those unbelievers have formed over the young people.”

Edip Gümüş drew attention to the pain in the Islamic geography, said that Islamic structures and individuals, Muslims should help their brothers who are faced with the danger of hunger and should make contributions.
"Everyone in the Islamic geography is struggling to shed the blood of Muslims in cooperation with the imperialist forces in today's world where the babies are suffering from hunger, people confluence just to take a plate of food, and the expression of ‘starving to death,’ normalized nowadays. We want Islamic geographical administrators to help even more of what they have done so far to whole humanity. If the leaders of Islamic geography not help, at least we want Islamic structures and individuals to help and contribute to their brothers who are facing the danger of starvation.”
“My Lord! ... Provide the unity of the Ummah, unite the hearts of the believers, destroy the hatred and enmity between them”
Praying for the unity of Muslims, Gümüş said that we should never be despairing.
“Our brothers and sisters should not fall into despair in the face of the weight of the test and the troubled situation in which the Muslims have fallen in.” We can destroy the plans of the devil and his friends if we act within the measures that Allah and His Messenger have laid down. My Lord, establish the unity of the Ummah, unite the hearts of believers, and destroy the hatred and enmity between them. Fear the enemies of Islam, break down their strength, pulverize their armies.” (ILKHA)
